Department of Botany
The Department of Botany is a vibrant and dynamic department of the college, dedicated to the study of plant biology, ecology, and conservation. The department offers undergraduate degree (3/4 years programme) under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for the students. The department imparts knowledge on various aspects of botany, including plant anatomy, physiology, genetics, ecology, and biotechnology, using modern pedagogy and innovative teaching methods. The department organises seminars, workshops, and conferences on contemporary issues, such as plant conservation, climate change, and sustainable development.
